Back up camera

We just picked up our new rv (2012 Melbourne) and all seems to be working fine. It has a Clarion radio that does everything but cook, however when we put vehicle in reverse or turn the turn signal on the screen says No Video Signal. We have read manual, watched utube how to videos and this area is not addressed. Is something not connected right or are we not doing something. We are not tech people at all so thought someone out in rv land may know.

It appears your Clarion's display is set up to receive inputs from side and rear vision cameras. Is your Melbourne supposed to be equipped with those? I don't think they are standard but they could well be options on yours. If you aren't sure if you have them, check with the selling dealer.

In a rig equipped with them, the appropriate side camera comes on when the turn signal is activated and the rear camera when in reverse.

How about taking it back to the dealer? Isn't it still under warranty?

Yes we will be taking back to dealer, only had 3 days, just thought we might have missed something. Yes it has cameras on mirrors that should go on when turn signal is on but we just get no video signal. Guess it will take awhile to work out all the kinks, everything else works fine. Can't wait to take it out, Quartszite here we come........
