Backup Camera

Howdy to everyone and Happy New Year!!
I have a question and need some input concerning the Backup Camera and the door entry handle for our 2003 National Dolphin.

1. The camera was working then quit, thinking maybe a fuse. Is there a fuse I can check concerning the back up camera and where might it be located.
2. Have thought about replacing said backup camera, will an aftermarket camera work and what about ease of replacement.
3. After losing my balance while going up the entry steps I grabbed the entry handle and that little coconut snapped. Where might I find another like the OE or suggestion for a replacement.

thanks everybody

Year, Coach and Chassis models would help. Someone with a rig like yours may know exactly where it is. Might be under the dash in a dp or out by the engine under the hood or doghouse in a gasser. Could even be in line.

I had an '03 Dolphn LX but don't remember the fuse location. How about jumping 12v direct to the display direct and see what happens? It's a low power device, so a blown fuse is well down the list of likely problems. Does the display flash/blink when you turn it on/off? How about audio (I think you have an audio pick-up as well). Loose signal cable? Bad camera at the back?

Replacing it is generally an all or nothing job. Trying to match a new camera to an existing display can be challenging - most systems are non-standard. Install anew camera, run the cable underneath the chassis and up into the cab, to a new display. Fairly straight-forward mechanical install. Trying to match parts to the existing display can be a nightmare in many motorhomes.

Update on the backup camera: So it seems to have fixed itself.. We had a brake handler installed for the tow dolly and when we picked up the coach that evening it was working,,, I am beginning to think it may have been operator error??? NOT SURE!!!! LOL
Anyways thanks to all who tried to help us!

My fuse is under the dash cover, behind the monitor. It would stop working intermittently, and I found the problem was a corroded fuse and holder. Who would have thought?
