Way too many posts to read them all to see if I will duplicate anything.

One of my top pet peeves is people who speed in campgrounds, especially while pulling a trailer or toad. Besides the obvious safety aspect, the dust gets so thick sometimes from the gravel roads it's awful. You're sitting there in your recliner relaxing and enjoying life and then have to take a dust bath. Cg rule is max. 7mph but I guess some can't read or don't care, or both. Common sense is to go slower if kicking up dust.

If it's okay to post p/p #2, it's people nearby that get up really early in the morning to leave and have their engines running for 1/2 hour or longer. Diesels are esp. annoying being so much louder. Then they yell back and forth while breaking camp because their truck is so loud they have to shout over it. They bang doors (RV and TV), wind their electric jacks up & down, bring their slides in (making that grinding noise), throw stuff into bed of truck. Even worse when there's little kids involved. I know some noise can't be avoided, but please try to be respectful and keep it to a minimum.

But on the positive side, camping with an RV and meeting so many people in campgrounds from all over the place is a lot of fun. A lot of friendly conversation and everybody has an interesting story to tell.

Noisy people / families who are not regular RVers. Crap all over the place...toys bike, cars, trash, food wrappers....3 or more tents on a site, burn plastic and all their garbage in the fire. Infringe on your camping site with their tents and crap.

That was exactly what happened our first two days on our last vacation. Arrived on a Friday and on 5 of the other sites around our col-de-sac area there must have been 35 to 40 campers in tents. There was so much crap all over the place. All the kids had every toy and sporting good you could imagine. One of the adults even told me were going to be making a lot of noise tonight...Thank God they were only there for the weekend. From the looks of it they burned all their beer cans and trash in the fire pits. There were so many empty pop cans and food wrappers left in the grass when they left. But what 'errecked" me the most...was the kids kept hitting my SUV with their soccer balls and other toys. After they left here I see I have 2 scratches on my fender and a soccer ball mark scrap on my hood de-flecter.

My pet peeves include dogs running loose ( leash rules apply to other people not my dog), loud music (everyone just loves to listen to rap) and the last but not least the obnoxious drunks that come out after dark (we are only having a good time). Fortunately the vast majority of campers are considerate, well behaved and a real joy to meet.

Just think, If it was a perfect world out there none of us would need to camp to get away from anything because it is already perfect!

When you look in the mirror in the morning........that's the individual who is going to decide how you are going to react to life's givings and what your day is going to be like.

We can all choose how we react! Some don't make the right choice.

True, but only if I can remember why I was there in the first place.

I don't claim to know everything!

However, I must cause DW calls me a "Know It All"

All I need to know is "Do you have a clue?"

My DW seems to think all my internet friends are "clueless" so if you do have one I can prove her wrong.

I'd love, just once, to prove her wrong.
