Bathroom issues
For whatever reason our shower drains slow. Not sure what that's about. Also, a funky smell comes from the sink drain. Two issue, I've never experienced in any of my other trailers...

+2 Sounds like hair and soap scum buildup.

I use a water hose, shoot a straight stream of water down the drain to wash the trap. If your ever sets up for long periods the water in the trap will dry out and allow order inside. I run water down the drain occasionally if not used for extended periods.

Might also be the vent (AAV) under the sink not opening and working correctly. Vents go bad and need replaced, simple job for most.

I'ma try that as it's a brand new camper. As I said before, never had this happen in any of my other ones.

Just like in our S/B house, we (wife) removes the P traps to the sink drains and cleans them out at least once a year. It used to be my job and then I taught her how to clean them on her time schedule.

Happens in our sticks and bricks house, it is a buildup of soap, body oils and hair. Every 3-4 months I pour a few kettles of boiling water quickly down the drain and everything flushes out.

check and see if the water in the shower drain bubbles back when it drains this will indicate a bad vet system. bar soap is a problem, if you use a liquid bath soap you won't get the soap scum build up. also your shower will stay cleaner.

I had a smell coming out of the kitchen sink this fall. Put water into the sink & shower and the smell went away.
Had to be a P trap dry.

Shower is taken care of. Put a couple of ounces of bleach in it, smell came back though. Thoughts?
