Batteries on 2012 Vista26HE

should all my batteries charge when engine is running if so is there a solenoid that does this and where is located

Also you might want to look for the BIRD. This is intellitec’s Bi-Directional Isolator Relay Delay ( BIRD )which offers a new approach to charging all batteries, house and chassis, I'm just not sure if 2012 they used this. So, now you have a couple of things to look for. Its a square box about 5 x 3, ok it's a rectangle box. Which have some heavy cable going to it.

I don't think the Vista has a BIRD, but there will be an Aux Start switch on the dash and an associated relay. That realy is what closes the circuit to put chassis and house batteries in parallel so that the engine alternator can charge both.

I have used this switch to help crank the engine did not know it would charge house batteries when running engine
