"Batteries Plus"

Has anybody here bought 6V deep cycle batteries from "Batteries Plus"? if so,do you think they are good batteries for the money? if not, what would you recommend at a reasonable price? Thanks!

IMO, BP is high priced. I agree w/autofish, there's much less expensive places to get these batteries. We got ours as Costco.

Price point bears that...

While BP may have some good price on some stuff, there are better places to get vehicle batteries!

I had one of my battery backup garage door opener batts go bad, went to BP, they wanted almost $50 for a litttle 12V gel batt, I found two on line for $25 shipped. Decided to never go back there back unless I absolutely couldn't find what I needed anywhere else.

Check out Battery Systems. They don't seem well known because they don't dabble in consumer batteries of any kind. They cater to industrial fork lift, Home Depot man lift type devices, etc., and sell thousands of CG2 type batteries to golf courses, etc. Their price for a Trojan T-145 is less than the Interstate U2200 (whatever that replacement # is) quoted by the company store.

I bought ours at Costco.

If I have a battery problem somewhere across the country I can always find a Costco to take care of it.
