Battery Disconnect

I have a Class C. 2000 model Fleetwood Tiago.
As you will be able to tell by this question., I am new at this game. My question is there's a toogle switch on wall as you enter the door, it says battery and disconnect, if I am hooked to shore power in which postion should this switch be in? Thank for your help.

Welcome to the forum. That switch should be on when hooked up to power.

That Switch disconnects the Batt. when you put the unit in storage, otherwise leave it in the "on" position. Many Converters require that the Batt. be connected when you are plugged into shore power

So, do you think this switch activation wire is wired to the vehicle or coach batteries (no guesses, need the facts-lol)

Have never seen a salesman switch relay connected to a chassis battery but your question relates to the relay coil not the contacts. Would need to look at the circuit. It could be to either source.

Switch should be on when RV is in use. Off, when in storage for extended time
