Battery Maintenance
I have a dual battery set-up with pure sine wave inverter wired in. I regularly disconnect my battery when the rv is not in use for long periods because I don't want to overcharge the batteries with the inverter since inverters don't generally have a "float" charge mode. I bought a 750 mA trickle charger for maintaining a charge on my batteries.
My question is this:
Inverter is unplugged. Battery disconnect off. Trickle charger plugged in and connected directly to batteries which if course are in parrallel. Are there any issues with thus set-up? All comments welcomed.
Thanks

There is no problem with the remote charger but most RV grade inverters will only charge the batteries as needed. I'd check your paperwork.
I have a Magnum inverter with (6) 6 volt batteries and I leave my coach plugged in when not in use and most everyone else with electricity available will also leave their coach plugged in to 120 V AC

I'm kind of a black helicopter guy So....even though I have the "float" mode on my system, I've put my unit on a timer,so as "not" to power system 24/7. Probably not necessary..... But neither is my "tin foil"hat!

After toasting 3 brand new batteries by leaving the factory Magnum Inverter/converter/charger connected while in storage, I just use a maintainer. With 3 group 31 batteries I use this maintainer:
NOCO Genius G3500 6V/12V 3.5A UltraSafe Smart Battery Charger

I've never encountered a major brand of inverter/charger that was not a 3-stage, i.e. bulk, absorption and float charging. Including Magums.

Dont forget to check the batteries fluid level on a reg basis. I was told that they do need fluid more often because they are constantly being charged.

A quality charger will have a "float mode" and water loss will be tiny, maybe even zero. And of course, some batteries are sealed and have zero loss regardless, e.g. an AGM or Gel type.
