Bauer keypad door latch deadbolt now REALLY loose.

It has worked fine for months, since installed, but recently, the deadbolt slides in and out effortlessly, and will sometimes lock/unlock from vibration alone.

Any idea what the insides look like and what I can do to re-introduce some friction/resistance?

I had trouble with mine, gave Bauer a call with my problem. They were very helpful, sent me all the parts I needed to fix the lock. It's easy to take apart, and repair.

OK, I will holler at them and see what they can do to help.

After a couple of emails back and forth, Bauer rep said he thinks the motor has gone out, and sent me a new one with a box and postage paid return box (I paid for postage both ways). The new lock was free.

Didn't take as long as it seems by the dates on my posts. I had it sent to a "permanent address" in Seattle and never got up this far north in our travels until yesterday.

Works flawlessly, now!
