Bedroom wiring 2003 Georgie Boy Persuit

I am interested in finding out how the wiring for the bedroom lights enters the bedroom. I assume the lights are daisy chained and am looking for the first one fed. I want to put a switch on the waal at the doorway that will switch that line. The closest ceiling light requires walking 1/2 way around the bed with the slide out, or climbing on the bed with the slide in. BTW I have converted most of the ceiling lights to LED arrays and they are great for light and boon-docking battery use.

I would remove the fixture of the light you want to wire and look at the direction the wires come from. If there are a series of lights down the center of the MH, it's likely the wires travel from one to the other down the center as well. They should all be in parallel. Then, you will have to disconnect the black wire (maybe red) from the light, and splice it into your switch, then hook the other end of the second wire to the spot where you removed the hot wire. It's easier said than done. Two ways I can think of to route the wire...the first would be between the ceiling and the roof, then down the side. Could be tough with insulation in the way. The second would be to go down the side or back of the MH under the coach and back up the wall where the switch will go. If the light in question is the last in the line of lights, you may be able to connect into the second-from-last light, where the wire pair go to your last light. It might make the wiring path shorter. In order to do this, you will likely have to do a continuity test on the wires to make sure you are working only on that last light and not something else. I hope it helps!

Thanks for the info. The light fixtures in the bedroom are sort of in a U shape and may also feed the 2 wall fixtures. Looks like an afternoon search project.
