Beginners books and guides

Well since I'm new and haven't spend a lot of time in/on the RV and TT scene I thoughiut I'd ask a nOOb question. I searched quite a bit about the best guides, books and info on camp grounds of all types all across the country or maybe at least West of the Mississippi. I know everybody recommends Trailer Life and Woodalls and one or two others but I need some info on what is better.

I also read on a lot of the treads that many like phone/iPad apps and just browsing the interwebz but I like hard copies, toilet material, laid back in my recliner type reading material. What's the best paperback to give me info on CG amenities, max length of equipment, length of stays, offsite activities, costs, etc, etc? I think getting the "right" book may help us, in some way, decide in what size and type of TT may best suit our needs along with what additional accessories we should look at as well. Thanks for any insight.

First, I wouldn't get any books as they are out-dated as soon as they go to press. Use the web-they are all there. The ones I use the most are Passport America (join!!). Next is rvparkreviews.com. If I find a PA (passport am) park on my route, I check the reviews on rvparkreviews.com. You can search RV Park Reviews by area to get a list of all the parks in that area. Allstays has great info on their website and has apps.

Use the PA and RVParky apps. Other apps I have are: USA Rest Stops, My DAT Trucker (truck stops), Park4Night and Allstays (has several apps).

Good luck!! And Safe Travels!!
