Bench Seating Removal ? 2006 Cavalier

Anyone had any success removing the bench seating in a Cavalier ? We like the table, but would rather have chairs. Are they fairly easy to remove ? And does it leave alot of damage on a new unit ? I guess you could find a way to place a rug underneath if there isn't flooring under seats???

Thanks,

Have you checked that the space under one bench or the other isn't used for furnace, water heater, etc? Sometimes flooring is just installed on the empty floor, so it might be there, but a rug or other floor covering could be used. Also make sure the box of the seat isn't providing support or structure for internal walls.
