Best Attraction This Summer?

What was the best attraction you visited this summer?
For us (two old timers) it was the OSU Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, OR. FREE! and good for at least two to four hours. Lots of great marine and earth related displays, many of them interactive, some - get your hands wet and touch sea creatures and even wave machine so kids (of all ages) can build things and test simulated structures against power of waves. Very educational and informative.

West Yellowstone

Best 2013 summertime experience was........
a one and a half hour "show" standing on Fishing Bridge along the Yellowstone River. We were lucky enough to witness two bald eagles try and steal a cutthroat trout from a family of otters. The otters worked very hard to get their dinner to the edge of the river, all the while under the watchful eyes of two eagles high in the pines on opposite shores. The majestic eagles took turns gracefully soaring down to rip off the catch of the day! It was an amazing story to witness, and one we will soon not forget. In the end, the wily hunters were no match for the wise otters who were relentless in their efforts to shoo the big bad guys away...
