My wife and I are new to the RV world. Does anyone have recommendations on a gas grill that isn't directly attached to the RV? I prefer one with collapsible legs, that I can easily stow, operate off a propane bottle or my RV tank. I am thinking it must be at least 280 square inches to be large enough to cook at normal meal.

The Weber Q series grills work very well and have multiple sizes. However we are looking at switching to the Blackstone griddle as they are a little more versatile and have been getting great reviews.

The Blackstone griddle has consistently gotten great comments and we love ours. It does not have a table, but we have a hose that reaches to the on board tank and reaches most campsite tables.

Weber Q hands down. Had a Q1000 for 10 years and loved it. My wife dropped it and cracked the lid so we upgraded to the Q1200. Got it set up to either run off the coach propane tank or off the small bottles.

We went with the Pit Boss Grill, 75275 stainless steel two-burner portable grill. We had a Webber grill for awhile but the cooking surface rusted. I like the cooking grid on the Pit Boss better, has folding legs and can store laying down flat or on its side.

we bought the weber q 2200 or 2000......fold-able stand..........pricey but worth it.....we were in florida this past january/february..........temps were upper 50's most of the time, but a constant 20 mph wind blowing all the time............grilled steaks, fish, and shrimp with no issues............it heated to over 500 degrees each time i used it to clean it off.........would highly recommend....................

I didn't like the size and pricing of most of the so called RV grills, so I bought a small, two burner home style grill. I looked for one that had no bottom cabinet, just legs. I cut the legs off and reused the plastic feet on the legs I cut off. Think it cost 89 dollars, has side tables and fits in my basement storage. I can use my coach propane or a spare bottle I carry on the trailer.

Did the same to get rid of the small cans of propane, very pleased with the Q grill, and also with their factory customer support .

I've never seen a mount like that for the Weber...very COOL! Where did you find it?

We have a Nexgrill that we bought at Home Depot. It looks similar to the one at the start of the Vagabond Jerry video. It is all stainless steel and has two burners. The grill is roughly 2' square and has folding legs to use on a table top. (either the campground's picknic table or our small folding table) Been using it for a year now and it has been great.
We also have a Manchester 5# (1 gal) propane bottle for it. The smaller bottle is easy to store and we fill it whenever we fill the built in tank on the coach. Much better than lugging a 20# bottle and is equal to about 6 of the disposable grill bottles. We had a quick disconnect on a previous RV to supply a grill directly from the RV's propane, but it was hard to find a grill that was unregulated and going through two regulators (the RV's and the grill's) doesn't work well. It is as easy to take out the Manchester bottle as it was to dig out a hose and connect to the RV.

We have had Magma, Weber Q's and the Coleman Road Trip. The Coleman is the best by far and has two burners.

This is what we have, cooked for over 10 people on it, have it for over 5 years, no problem.

I never leave it out, fold it up after it cools down and back into the bay it goes till the next time i need it.

Seems the smokeless grill we have is the ticket can use it indoors as well.

And DW just got a slow cooker have not used that yet.
