Also, lots of colorful characters coming and going, and of course free WIFI.

I always try and read the Walmart thread whenever it updates, and the Walmarts don't seem anywhere near as entertaining as the trucks stops. I was mainly questioning why Walmart was preferred over the truck stops.
Really? Walmart not entertaining? Have you ever been in one?

There are many places to park for the night, "if you ask nicely". You can catch a store owner or manager of any type and if his lot will fit you and not disturb his business, odds are you have a place to stay. Seldom will you run ino a plain old grump. You have to give people a chance to be good.

I park where the MANAGER tells me to park. Sometimes that is in the RV parking, sometimes not.
I leave out early in the AM after eating breakfast.
I rarely park in the RV Parking section becuase it is filled with cars and SUVs.

Your OPINION is that NO ONE should park overnight.

My OPINION is that I ask the mangers and they say I can.
"Apologizing in advance" if I hurt your feelings.
No Sir, that is not my opinion. I don't recall stating an opinion, just asked for a clarification. I don't feel that I have the right to suggest to anyone where they stay overnight.

Actually, if you have consulted with the manager and have received permission and guidance, then my comment is irrelevant and needs no further discussion.

And I sincerely assure you that you haven't hurt my feelings, so no apology is necessary. Although, I do appreciate your concern.

Enjoy your stays at Cracker Barrel.
