OK, I need to take this in a slightly different direction. I usually fill the black and grey water tanks before dumping to get as much help and dilution as possible to move things out at the dump station.

I usually turn the lav faucet and the sink faucets on to fill the tanks. Did this yesterday and headed off to load the toad on the tow dolly. Walked back into the RV to find the black tank overflowing into the coach, Ewwwwww.

DW cleaned up the major portion and we tossed those towels into the dumpster.

Fortunately we have hard floors except at the bedroom which needs to be cleaned is there a preferred cleaner?

Sorry to hear of the accident. I have found that OdoBan (available at home depot, loews) will do a good job in cleaning up that kind of mess. As for overfilling, which I am good at, I installed a $15 water timer on my feed lines. It has quick connects installed for ease of use. Set for 15 min or so and if I forget, no harm no foul

We actually discovered the Odo-Ban at Home Depot and used it this evening after doing a steam cleaning of the carpet. So far so good.
