Thats what we do,,, pour the correct amount into a hose, hook it up to a water source, and force it into the fresh water tank... Then run your pump with both hot and cold faucets open.... We just did this today... No way on ours for gravity fill...

Bleach!

Bleach, yes. Vinegar, no. And, hospitals do NOT use vinegar for disinfection/sanitization. (Based on my 34 years in healthcare). 😉

Has anyone used RV specific water system cleaners? Our MH saw little use before we bought it, and the PO said he never used the fresh tanks in the 20 or so years he owned it. I bought a 2 part detergent and sanitizer from the local RV shop. I guess bleach would have worked just as well. If you were worried about rust or mineral deposits in your pump, Straight vinegar would help with that..
