We used blogspot previously when we were working in Juneau, AK for 2 seasons. It was easy to use. I was able to update with pictures & short snippets of our day. It made it nice for family & friends to catch up with us & get a glimpse in to our adventure.
After reading this thread I think I'll start up again & just have a general blog - from recipes to RV trips & all in between.
And! I have some new blogs to check now!

Sorry....it is mytripjournal.com....we have recorded all our trips along with the routes on maps and some pictures as well......If you wish you can buy an upgrade which we haven't done.

A blog does not require you to update it everyday, it is entirely up to you. A blog is very easy to update and you can add pictures easily. A website requires some software on your computer to design it and update it. I maintain a blog for us, which gets updated almost daily when we are moving but about twice a month when we are staying still. I also maintain a website for a social group. That gets updated infrequently but it takes more work. If you are not familiar with html code and don't want to use, I suggest you do a blog. It is more like just typing a letter. I use Blogger for my blog and GoDaddy for the website.

Having maintained several websites and several blogs I agree entirely with TripleE. Sooooo much easier to do a blog. Blogger and Wordpress both make it completely brainless (a good thing). Just log in, write your words, upload your pics and you're done. No need to know anything about code or what's going on in the background.
