Mike, welcome to the first year insurance program. Purchase price with full replacement coverage is the deal breaker.. Full coverage is for the first five years for the original purchaser, only. High risk equal high premium for new purchaser's. Part of the game. First year new coach low entry, they gamble like a Vegas wheel. If they get thru that risky period they stick it to you next time. Read the above posts for a detailed history.

You'd want to keep comprehensive coverage and turn off collision and liability in that case.

New rv owner and bought blue sky / rli insurance. Quite seemed reasonable but I didn't so around. Just got letter required by nj that they filled for a rate increase for collision and comprehensive coverage - 38.2%! I guess if it gets approved I will be shopping for new insurance next year when my policy is up for renewal!

Just rcvd my Blue Sky invoice. An increase of 30.5% over last year. No accidents, no violations & excellent credit rating. Interested in other options.

Randy & Sharon,

You might want to try Tobin Agency in New Jersey for a quote. They underwrite policies for National Interstate and offer really good pricing. When I renewed a couple of days ago my increase year over year for the exact same coverage was less than $50.00

I just received my Blue Sky bill and it went from $997 to $1,693. I checked Hartford and I can get a policy for around $700/year, but it does not mention windshield replacement or replacement.
