(I think) Not mentioned was do check and/or fill the propane tank. Hard to cook or heat without propane in most RV's.

WE easily go a full week on our tanks but we have large tanks too.

If you have 50 amp to plug into you will have no need for your generator.

This is like Abbot&Costello.
"We are 50 amp" could mean they have it in the RV. It don't mean they have a outlet, to plug it in to.

Yeah I agree, I just took it to mean he had access to 50 amp service at the Ranch....but some people really don't know you don't need to use the generator if you are connected to 50 amp..

Not using the A/C, and keeping the fridge and water heater on propane keeps your electrical load pretty low and you can get by on just 15 amps if available. Just don't run a hair dryer and the coffee pot at the same time. Same with the microwave and other high power appliances. Normal lights (powered from the AC/DC convertor), TV, maybe a table lamp and such are pretty small loads.

Can't take generator now.
So just use a space heater? And wouldn't you know it's supposed to be 37 there now.
Don't have a place for the borrowed generator.
Never done this. A little nervous about it. It's just two people in the RV.
Yes it's household electricity. We are 50amp.

Does a mini lamp pull less than a kitchen light in the RV? And I have that mini humidifier from Walgreens. Have migraines and it helps a lot, hate to go without it. But may have to.

If it's cold, use your propane stove top to heat water and food. This warms the interior AND releases moisture into the air to help the humidity issue.

Better make sure you have the proper adapter to go from your 5'ers 50amp down to house hold 15/20amp or you'll have zero power to work with. At 37 degrees and only household currant it'll be either the small humidifier or space heater, not both. For my wife and I we find the biggest use of water when with out hook ups is washing dishes. Paper products will help but as suggested wash them once a day and don't leave the faucet running while rinsing. Dish pans help and you can collect the water in it and dispose of out side the rig, though I don't thing you should have a problem filling your grey tank in two days. If you do, just dump the grey! in most states it isn't illegal to dump them if away from residential neighborhoods. I laugh when I hear people worry about dumping grey water which generally water and soap. What the heck happens when someone with a 40 foot RV washes it! or your car for that matter. That's a lot of dirt, water and soap, certainly more than what will come out of your grey tank unless into mud wrestling!
