Brake Buddy Classic vs newemodel?

Looking at getting another Brake Buddy, as we will have two towable vehicles. Have had the "Classic" but wondering about the newer model. Any help would be appreciated.

I looked at the new slimer model but opted for the SMI Duo with nothing to hook up or set up or reposition the seat or remove and store.
Plug in lights for toad and its in operation.

I acquired a brake buddy with the rv and toad we recently got and have NO idea how it's supposed to work (nor did the previous owner as I watched him hook it up and he was nowhere close to what the manual said )

Not sure it helped the braking at all the way he had it hooked up as it was plugged into a keyed 12v that went off as soon as he took the key out

Just went to brakebuddy.com and downloaded the manual... will test tmo...
