Brake control help

On my 03 sightseer 33l F53 chassis was pre wired for a 6 pin round. Now I have to install a 7 pin and figured not an issue. After removing the rear rock guard and 2 hours of eating dirt I have found my missing Blue wire. Now my question is this wire hot all the time or is it switch control because by the time I found it and put the meter to it and found no power I said enough for today. I know the regular ones you have to wire the control box to the control box for the brakes to work but this one is wireless. Looked at wire diagram and doesn't show the area I need. I do have a 30 amp fuse in the fuse box and power in and out. I am wondering if I need to put a jumper in the connector this is the area I am lost with out prints. I know I have to run a wire back to the connector blue wire. I have searched all over and found one about the missing blue wire but his was a plug in.
I posted this on tow section no hits so maybe here will help.

on my 7 pin connector the blue wire is the electric brake wire, so it will not have voltage until the brake is pressed

There are a lot of wiring diagrams out there that are different

So get you meter out and start testing

This is how my 7 pin is connected

Well I have and the blue wire is not connected to the plug it is 5 feet short. This unit is a RF and I am trying to find out if I need a jumper in the connector up front by the brake pedal. The instructions do not tell you much it just says install unit and plug and play.
