Brake service location

Hi All,

40' class A motorhome:

Today I noticed that the wheel started pulling to one side when I press the brake pedal. This started just before we pulled to our RV park in Bend, OR.

Looking under I noticed that the brake pads inside the drum are wet and oily. I think it might be a leaky seal from "oil bath" hub.

My question is if anyone knows a good honest place in Bend who can fix this? Or anyone has feedback on freightliner in Redding, CA (we are heading to SF)

Thanks!

Might look at RV Service Reviews for a start. And the CA section at RV Service Reviews

If you have a leaking hub, I suggest you get it looked at in Bend, not Redding. This isn't something that should be put off.

I'll make some calls tomorrow. Maybe someone here can recommend a shop in Bend who can repair it.

Bend is fair sized and is surrounded by trucking and farming. I would think there would be a good truck shop maybe freightliner.

Got it fixed at Pacific Truck Center in Redmond. They got us in and out in 3 hours and $440 later all is well. New seal, brake pads (both sides) and a few little things.

Good job at a fair price. Will note your repair shop.
