PittBull, wouldn't have anything else! if a camp don't allow them, then she's a mut, cause she is... there is nothing wrong with the breed, just the ______ that do the deed. Sunshine has been with us for 3 years of RV and have never had a problem with her, she guards our RV like her own house, I would never ever ever have any other dog. Find one as a baby puppy and raise her like any other dog, you'd be blown away how loyal these dogs are. They're not called "America's Dog" for nothing...

whatever you get, it will be amazing i'm sure! Just do me one favor... :-) (no offense to the rest of you above, seriously!) get a DOG please... not something that can stand up on your lap and still not see over your arm while you're driving... but something that kicks momma out of the passenger seat so it can ride shotgun! LOL

best of luck

Buddy Rules

Buddy is our 6 year old Giant Schnauzer. He is the most magnificent companion, wherever we go. He is especially happy when we take our 2 young grand children along and loves his walks in new and unusual places. At 85lbs he is quite big, but fits perfectly between our 2 toddler grand daughters on the bottom bunk. Buddy makes our trips complete and is truly our best friendClick image for larger version

breed of dogs

So sorry to hear about your loss. We travel with both our dogs. We have 115 lb German Shepard Dog and a 15 pound Norfolk terrier. I can't imagine not having him with us. He was one of the reasons we got the RV, so we can all travel together.

We travel (not full-time) with 3, YES I SAID 3 golden retrievers!! The oldest two are registered therapy dogs, so they sort of "earn their keep", so to say. The oldest dogs are both going on 12 years of age and seem healthy and maybe not so lively as a few years ago, but nevertheless enthusiastic around people, as goldens tend to be. We have had 10 goldens over the years. so a somewhat biased towards the breed, but you would never know it to meet us since we really love all breeds except those bred for fighting, etc.

Two ''Paps'' Gus Gus and Fineous Foghorn Farnsworth from Fillidelphia
One ''miniature Yorkie'' Gypsy (she is the one in the middle with the gun)
All three go when we go or we dont go......
They own the coach and toad and the boat.
Best traveling companions. Small, dont poop much, dont eat much, dont take much space in our bed with us.
