We also travel mostly to dog events and have our dogs with us. We have affenpinschers. Usually have 7-8 with us at all times. Small dogs that travel well and are a delight when we arrive. They mostly look the same so unless they are all in their x-pen together, no one ever knows just how many we have. They are small but not barky unless someone comes to the door.

"CJ" is a mini schnauzer mix of some sort... or so we think. Got him from the Humane Society and he is a great dog!

We travel everywhere with our English Springer Spaniel Murphy. He's been traveling since he was 5 months old.

He's the biggest lap dog we ever had

I'm not a small dog person, so our 105 lbs German Shepherd occupies his throne between the two front seats when we're going down the road. He'll follow me absolutely everywhere, but when I step out of the MH, he stays put until told to get out.

Us, too. We have two that we got from a Shih-Tzu rescue group in the DFW area. They are both mixes and don't share many characteristics except that neither of them shed - a real blessing in an RV.

I have two Shelties (one is a Sheltie/Pom mix). Both are from Houston Sheltie Sanctuary (rescue group). They are excellent travelers although they do shed. I keep the lint brush and vacuum handy. They bark if anyone comes around but otherwise are well-behaved. They are great companions for me!

We have Ginger, a Golden Retriever rescue. She is a small Golden at 50 lbs, but a real joy. Always happy, loves to ride, and is a velcroe baby. She also has her own special toy box up front for squeekie tennis balls, frisbies, stuffed animals and her walking leash. If I get out of the driver's seat, she immediately takes over!

2 Bichon Frise. Curly white lap dogs. Don't shed, smart as a tack, hypoallergenic, happy, and ever so friendly. Would never leave home without them!

An over sized (23 lbs) mini Schnauzer, he does not shed, he loves to travel and he is well trained. Makes traveling with an animal pleasant.

3 dobermans,well behaved ,No problem.
lots of hair shedding though. vac every day tons of hair
But size and number not a problem.
They stay off couch, bed and each has a verikennel they love.
Raised since puppies with the varikennel as their beds
We drycamp, parks would be a little problematic.
Once tried an rv place and had to take them out one at a time so people only thought we had one dog... that has to pee and crap 3 times more than usual.
