Travel with a choc. lab and golden retreiver. Can't imagine a better travel companion then Clemintine the golden!! On the other hand, the lab is....well......let's say a bit over active and has this issue with passing gas (need to convert the RV to methane).

45 lb. mix. Part lab, part hound. Hates to ride but once we get to where we are going she is fine. Got her from an adoption organization. Also have a cat husband found in a trash pile at 4 weeks old. She is not very friendly to most people but loves us. Think she is a product of ferel cats. She loves to ride on the dash, or in the lap of whoever is driving. Hope you find the animal for you. They make the best travel companions.

OK since its show and tell,heres one of my soon to be travlin Dobies .This ones an Albino.
Looks just like a fawn I had but this ones got pink nose ,pink/white eyes, sometimes theyre blue and white.
Ill have to search another computer for the others. Blue and Blk/T

We have been RVing for 39 years and had everything from a labs to mutts, and they are all great. Our latest is a Yorkie, and he gets a lot of exercise in a 40 ft. motorhome.

12lb. Pekepoo named Peanut, who is 7 years old. Absolutely loves travel! When at home, if you walk him on the driveway side of our house, he goes straight to the motorhome and sits at the door.
We recently acquired a second traveling companion too. He is a 5 month old Shipoo. Already been traveling and seems to like it!

Lol this is too cute. My parents travel with their 2 springer spaniels. Sometimes they have more because my mom has an active part of English springer spaniel rescue ( ESRA).

Can't beat a Poodle, no shedding, super easy to train, and above all, quiet! The big guy could scare off an intruder with his size but neither of them would hurt a flea. The old Chihuahua on the other hand, used to be a major barker and would bite anyone but me if he still had teeth.

Another Mutt lover here. Always had Mutts and always will. Rescue dogs all the way (our cats too). Best temperament and health in my mind. Our current baby is a herding mutt-mix and is most definitely the best dog ever

Ultimately however the best dog for you will be the one that you find the best. Cryptic but true.

We have a 6 yr old, 4-lb Yorkie (Scooter) who loves, loves, loves to travel. He doesn't shed and was trained from puppyhood to forego yapping. He does enjoy trying to stop pick up trucks in his mind but lets the RV's go by.

We have also traveled with an Akita/shepherd mix and although she sheds, she is a lover and one of the sweetest dogs we've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Good luck in bringing a new family member aboard.

I don't know for sure, but she's between 105 and 110 lbs 27 or 28 inches at the shoulders. Tip of the tail to her nose is 6 ft or more

This is Gabby. She's so black that it's very difficult to get a photo of her face so I had to brighten it up and remove the sickly green background. Any guesses on the breed or mixture she is.
