Been teaching my 5 y/o twin grandsons the pee outside for boys rule this year. We were up at our cabin in April and it took them a little bit to remember they didn't have to go to the outhouse just to pee but when it finally sank in they were watering lots of trees. Then we had to teach them when its OK and when its not OK to just water the lawn/trees. They got the idea now. Its really funny when were outside in the back yard(I have over 9 acres) and they're holding it cuz they gotta go really bad and I tell them just go right here. They get that "Oh yeah" look on their face followed by the look of relief. Love how funny little ones can be.
