Broken sensor

Just opened the hood of my 2005 Fleetwood Bounder and I found this sensor dangling. Looks like it came from the brakes master cylinder. Does anyone know what it's function is and what it is called so that I can try to find a replacement.

Thanks

Well, using Google to match your photo, I see it's a Workhorse master cylinder. The white sensor is the pressure sensor to make sure both pistons are making equal pressure.

Fleetwood also made gas Bounders on Ford chassis. Putting information in your signature line would help us help you.

Thanks Bob.

Will I need to do anything other than change out this part?
Could this be the reason that when I break, my RV pulls to the right?

Perhaps the sensor was broken off to hide the fact that the master cylinder is only working on one half it's circuit. Replacing the sensor might reveal the issue. Also, I've read about a recall on Workhorse brake systems, you need to check and see if your chassis is subject to the recall and if the work has been done. You might send a private message to Jon Brazel I'm sure he can check using your VIN number.

There are a number of reasons for pulling to one side, but eliminate a faulty master cylinder first. If you remove the cover on the reservoir, both sides should have equal levels of brake fluid.
