So, I dodged a bullet today. A big, wooden bullet. I was going to de-winterize the rv today, but got caught up in a bunch of honey-dos instead. By the time I was through with that stuff, I was a bit tired, so I went upstairs to take a short nap. A couple of hours later my son came upstairs and told me that he heard a loud thump from outside. We went outside and saw the remains of a 60-foot Poplar lying across the driveway. Right where I was going to park the rv to work on it! About the top third broke off and shattered on the ground.

Whew!

So___, how many lottery tickets have you bought since then? You did dodge a wooden bullet for sure. If you luck holds you just might be the next multi-millionaire.

Napping can take care of many maladies.

My idea of a nap is in my recliner for a couple hours, then get up and go to bed.

Dodging bullets of any kind is a good thing.

Next time you want to take a nap and your wife wants you to do something you now have the perfect argument

Too bad it won't work.
