Well i bought a RV from Elmonte.
And i trusted people there and there word ,after all it a big compagny.
They told me nothing was wrong with the RV ,so i beleived them.
But when the RV arrived i had it checked , it suprise the repair cost the the RV is 2800 $ ,something you would not expect
so i emaled them , and since the RV is just over the border of USA they said it bad luck but we only give warranty in USA .
So i said just sent me the parts then .
Answer No
Noted i would take shiping cost , but they refused .
Well it a big scam something you would not expect this from a compagny as Elmonte

Welcome to irv2. If their warranty stated that it's only good in the US , then it's hard to blame them. Warranties are usually specific and have to be followed precisely.
Was that the case here ?

Well ,its not run a mile outside USA , but it was received outside USA
So if they said nothing wrong with the RV and when received there was a problem .
And nothing happend during shipment.
problems where
1. bad airbag sensor
2 leaking waterpump
3 wearout of ball joints
4 wearout of steering rod

How many miles were on the RV when you bought it?

The bottom line is I am pretty certain the dealer knew up front that the buyer lived out of the US. I'LL wager that the seller never told the buyer the warranty was only good in the US. Could the buyer have gotten something in writing that would have guarenteed should something happen out of the country it would be covered, Yeah probably. That does not excuse dealerships from ethical business practice's. I am sure the buyer learned a valuable lesson to get things in writing and to have the vehicle independently inspected.
Still sad that business is conducted like that !

10400 miles and yes he knew i was out of USA
i used to rent a RV from them but decided to buy one.
Indeed indivual inspection needed at all times i guess
Shame you cannot trust people on their words any more
Specialy such a big compagny
and for what 500 $ of parts it a shame

Ball joints and steering components worn at 10k miles? Does not seem normal or reasonable.

I'm sorry that you had a bad experience. Does El Monte sell or rent RV's in Canada? If so, you would think the warranty would be good in the great white north. I bought my rig from Cruise America. They have outlets in Canada but I'm not sure if their US warranty is good in Canada.

Also it seems odd to me that they would sell a rig with that low amount of mileage.

Was it a prior rental?

Who determined that the noted items were bad? Those items seem to be too early a failure to me. What year was the vehicle you purchased? Seems like they all would be covered under the chassis builders' waranty...Ford or Chevrolet or ?

I guess there is a misunderstanding here and its one on my side
the miles are 104000 i guess i forgot a 0
But still they said all its good , no problems what so ever
But there are
And if they told some parts need to be fixed i have them fixed in the USA
That was not the issue , they issue is the did not checked like they promised also we discovered some other problem like laying loose the ignition coil damage the ignition cables , no cover on the fuse box
Hope that it , but if we dig in deeper i hope we do not find any other big major problems

did you inspect and test drive the mh before buying? seems most of this would have showed up if do diligence was used before purchase.

No i did not that meaby was my mistake but we want to trust people
I ask them several times or there where any issues.
No they said evrything is top notch and checked so no problem what so ever
So if that was the case no problem i tought

And since we live more then 4000 miles away ,
I tought ok we trust them

Well as it seems WRONG doing that , never going to rent or buy from them
Since you just cannot trust them , if they said ok there are some issues that i would know , now i am very frustrated .
