Anyone in the California area around where the fires are? We are headed to the Santa Cruz Mtns then Pismo area. We are following the news but there isnt too much info regarding tourism in the area.

A fire started today in the Santa Cruz mountains today.
Check Calfire for road closure info.
As far as I know Pismo is only smokie.
Have a good time anyway.

We have been in Marin County since the middle of Sept. Smoke was not too bad yesterday but today you can see and smell an increase. 101 South near Salsalito was closed today because of a new fire. No one is saying what is causing these outbursts in so many different areas. Seems things change on a daily basis.
