California RV consigners recommendation?
I've been RVing in CA for the past 2.5 yrs. but the FW is registered and titled in TX. I took it to in for repairs at a shop in N. Cal and upon offering to let him sell it as consignment, he said his license will not allow him to sell an out-of-state vehicle.
He said I would have to first find an address I can use to transfer in the title to CA. I don't want to go through that process for a myriad of reasons.
I can't see a simple state issue preventing someone from selling an RV. Maybe one form Canada, but not from the US. So I'm looking a larger, more established RV consignment location that can handle intra-state transactions.
I did a search online for this but... info overload.
One with a good reputation. Doesn't make sense to drive all the way back to TX just to sell a sub-$15,000 FW.
