Set up at Salt Fork State Park in Ohio. We use the tent as an outbuilding.

Rocky River Resort on the Current River, Doniphan, MO. Two nice campgrounds here and one forest service cg north of town. Getting ready to chow down on crab legs and steak. Second picture is with palm tree and getting ready to make up some smores. Can't wait for spring to get here.

This was the best part of the camp sight for our December 2012 trip to BatCave, NC.
I am ready to roll out again. I just have to convince DW that we can "afford" the trip!
So ready for summer!!!

My favorite area in the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta.

The view from my door

The neighbors

Campsite. Note the rake of the awning. Lots of rain but like to keep the door area mud free

In laws farmstead is Saskatchewan. Notice the endless skies

This photo from our week in Lake George NY is pretty typical of our setup. Awing extended, outdoor carpets down, EZ-up up for extra shade, our 4 person foldaway table and benches, a few chairs to sit around the campfire with and off mosquito lanterns!... not to mention our 2 Labs!

mmmm ... it must be dinnertime :-)

Oh and ... a collection of Adult Beverages is always a welcome sight after driving for hours and setting up the campsite!

Homemade MaiTai's were our adult beverage for our NASCAR weekend at Pocono last year ... yum!

Sometimes I find that a simple setup is really nice. Especially if the weather is good! Other times we put all the awnings , lights, etc out. A bit more setup and take down time. In the summer, the awnings help quite a bit with the sun/heat.

The first pic is at Laura Walker State Park, waycross, ga. The second is at Jekyll Island, ga.
