I checked out what campgrounds that were giving discounts thru the CampClub USA's website. I didn't see many CG offered. Here in Ohio I get the Ohio State Park's "Cardinal Camper Club. For $25 a year you get 15% off your nightly rate. We camp mostly at State Parks of OH, PA,NY and VT. This coming season we have already reserved 4 weeks of camping in 4 different PA. State parks. There non-resident rate is $102 a week at 3 of those and $88 at the 4th. And all of these are electric sites. Can't go wrong with that.

I am curious about this because I assumed that is the way PA and HappyCamper work also??

CampClub USA now has too few campgrounds to be of any use to me. I let my Passport America expire because it never seemed to fit my travel plans. But with PA's much larger number of campgrounds I do check back frequently to see if it fits my travel plans. It only takes a few nights to cover the investment for membership.

Superslif, we to love our PA campgrounds. However we don't use them much because of the dog restrictions, very few allow dogs
