Camping World, an RV dealer, or a campground that has a store. Marine supply dealer or marina.

I think most hardware stores carry what you're looking for. Your info says you're from SC I would think a number of stores may carry what you need. There are some Septic Tank products that may work, "JUST MAKE SURE THE LABEL INCLUDES RV's". My first trip out to the Mid-West a month ago, all hardware stores I went into carried Black Tank treatment, it was just more expensive than Wal-Mart. My opinion for me, I don-t like the pouches, they seem to stick together, and arenít as efficient as the Blue Liquid. If you cant find a RV type solution, look for septic, and ensure it "DOES NOT CONTAIN FORMALDEHYDE", (hope I spelled it correctly).
Good Luck.

I stopped using any toilet chemical long ago, with absolutely no adverse effects. The trick is to use plenty of water. I understand that folks try to minimize water usage depending on how often they can dump. I think people feel like they need some chemical deodorant when often it is not necessary. Just try it without and keep enough water in there to cover waste.

Happy Camper is what we use. It is best if left for several days or longer before dumping.

There is a chemical (several brands) which are, as I understand it, banned in selected areas (like much of the state of Confus....er, California)

But Well... I only used biologicals (natural emzynes) when I part timed, Now days, I mostly use water.. Occasionally (Like my semi-annual hike) I will use the green stuff from Wal-mart. but mostly Water.

I've tried just the water thing and it is OK as long as the temps stay very low. Get into the 80's and water isn't enough.

Water only worked for me in all temps and I was in 40 straight days of triple digits.

Well water alone will not work in Southern South Carolina when days hit 90+ with 100% humidity! The blue stuff seems to work as long as I add something like bleach or what not in to help clean the tank. I am hooked to full hook up all the time. So I empty it once a week.

All bleach does is kill the bacteria needed to break down the effluent. If you want to clean the tank add soap or softener.

You need Happy Camper. It works best under your circumstances. It likes staying in there a week or two. I have had no smells or clogs using it. Mine will go three weeks during football season when we don't have enough to dump since we go on weekends. MH is parked there.

Camper Chemical

I buy pine sol in big containers from Sams Club or BJ's when we need tank deodorant, about 8 ozs in tank. Usually not needed when the temps are below 70. Really, flushing the tank with plenty of water at clean out has greatly reduced and bad smell summer or winter.
