Campground etiquette
I have had my MH for 3 years now. Up till now most of mt trips have been to the Race Track where i club race with SCCA, but this year I am planning on using it to take more trips where i will be staying or passing through using campgrounds.
My question, I am planning a trip to Arcadia National park, I plan on taking a few days to get there and stop on the way.
My question, I would like to get up and leave from a campground like at 6am, but in order to do so, I need to start the coach, pull in the slides and pull up the levelers.
I no doubt will wake the folks next to me. Is this rude? is there an unwritten rule when your are good to go?

Really, If it were me doing that I would disconnect water and sewage as quietly as possible without starting any motors and even pull the slides in. Then when all was ready, start the motor, disconnect the ground power and get out of there!

8am seems to be the standard for starting the coach and preparing to leave

I disconnect all utilities, bring in the slides, then raise the levelers. As soon as I'm ready to go I start the engine and idle out as quickly and quietly as possible.

If you're just stopping overnight maybe staying at Walmart/Cabela's would be a better option. You could pretty much leave whenever in the AM. Just a thought...

Maybe if you call ahead, the campground can work with you to put you in a more "isolated" campsite away from everybody that may not be the most desirable, but it doesn't sound like you will be there for the camping anyway.

I pull my slides in and retract my jacks while plugged in. Then start my rig and pull out and park in the overflow until everything is warmed up. But thats just me.

There is a Cabellas right off of Route 95 in Southern Maine. Then you are about 6ish hours to Acadia. Make reservations in advance. It is a popular destination. Safe travels. 🚍🤠

I agree.
I usually disconnect water and sewer the night before and stow any outdoor gear. Then, in the morning run the slides in, jacks up, disconnect shore power and go.
When I had my fifth wheel I would hook up the truck the night before if the site was relatively level as well.

Campground etiquette
I suggest waiting until the end of the stated camp "Quiet Time".
How would YOU feel if jolted awake at 0600?
Besides, it's only about a 1000 miles from Dublin to Acadia Park. 4 short days at 250 miles each should be easy!
Enjoy the trip!

This exactly. Explain to the park you will be leaving very early and put you in an isolated spot. That will benefit you also as no one will keep you up late.
