As a campground owner, please explain to us the rationale in keeping someone's fees if you are able to rent the same site after the non-cancellation? How about a policy of no refund IF we are unable to rent the site? I agree with the previous suggestion that if you paid the rent and can't go, and they refuse to refund, call back and say you may have worked it out and would like them to keep the site open as you MAY be able to make it and you have already paid. If the refusal to refund involves a small deposit, then I would say you are out of luck..
