They started posting my reviews after just doing two of them so I don't believe the rule is held to the strictest of terms always. When I posted my third one, it showed up a couple weeks later as well, but there was at least a month between when they posted my first two reviews and when I went on my third outing.

There is a website which has pictures of every site in many campgrounds:

Campsite Photos, Camping Pictures, and Campground Reviews - campsitephotos.com

The owner of the site had reset this control and allowed for publication after two reviews were submitted rather than three. He did so without changing the stated rules, which did cause some confusion.

The new RVParkReviews platform will also permit reviewers to upload pictures.

iRV2 has a Campgrounds section & that's where we encourage members to post reviews since listings are by States & Provinces. Just click on the Campgrounds tab in the top toolbar & choose Add Campground (if it isn't already listed) or just click on that Campgrounds tab to go to the listings to see what reviews are there.

It doesn't have near the number of RVPR's site, but then members just don't seem to know it's there.

Lori-
May be they can change the color of campgrounds to red so we can see it better.

I just looked at the campgrounds listings here on irv2 - I also didn't know that section existed until reading this thread. It is not easily navigated. The layout is just by state - not filtered more by city so there are now multiple listings for campgrounds.
I did add a couple of reviews to cgs where we recently stayed that were listed.
My complaint with rvpr is that owners cannot respond as business owners can on TripAdvisor.

My biggest beef with campground web sites is that the photos they post are usually of the pool, office, and a bunch of kids with their face painted. Not a lot of help if you are trying to pick out a site.

The link above is a good start. A couple in New York has done a lot of work posting a web site with pics of public campground sites. Each site has several pictures and information on that particular site number. Helps a lot when trying to reserve a site especially for us as we canoe/kayak and want good sites on the water to launch our boats from. NY Campsite Guide

Yes, that is why I like this site - a picture of each site. And, please see my signature if you are headed to the Smoky Mountains.

You're gonna think I'm nuts! I had never noticed the "Campgrounds" forum up there! You're right, we should all start using it!

About 6 months ago I posted a review of a campground on the forum and I don't remember the exact wording but it rejected my review because it said I was not authorized or something and yes I was a member of the Forum. I haven't checked back since and probably should post some places we have stayed at. I just don't want to waste my time if it will not accept my review.

Are you referring to iRV2's Campground section? If so, you only need to be logged in.
