While we have been camper all of our married life (35+ years) from tent to pup to tt back to pup and and last two are MHs, we have never joined a Camping Club. My parents were a member of a CC and they really enjoyed the friendship and etc. We are members of FMCA as well as Good Sams and have attended several FMCA rallys, but none of our camping friends whom we camp with have MHs, so we have kinda ruled out a FMCA and Holiday Rambler club, thinking about a Good Sam club. Now that we are retired (from money making work, but not house work) we are thinking of joining a CC.
However, in looking over the locations of theses clubs, none seem to be near Tallahassee.
What are your experiences in joining a CC? s/Toby

Hi Toby,
Most of the irv2 regional groups camp together, some more often than others. Florida and Texas seem to get together every month and the Nor'Easters twice a year. I know we have made many wonderful friends through our camping adventures with the Nor'Easters.

Hi Toby, besides the obvious IRV2 rallys, did you know that most Holiday Rambler clubs have buddy rallys, where your friends with any make of RV can join you? Camping together is a lot of fun.
Several of us NorEasters have gotten to be good friends and often join each other on non rally weekends for some camping. Someone will mention where they are going camping, and if they are available, others will join them.
