Camping Families w/ children

We are looking for other families that have children (we have three: 3, 8 and 12yrs.) and thought it would be fun for us adults and kids. We have camped w/ some friends down the street from us several times in the last several years and now they are moving to Colorado. Maybe if we get enough young to middle aged family's together we can start "The Young Boomers". So if this sounds good to you, please post back and let us young boomers have some fun like the older folks like to do maybe even better!

We probably do about 1/4 of our camping with other families. The toughest part for us is usually agreeing on a schedule. The kids (6 in our case) do have a lot of fun.

What has worked the best so far is that if we or one of our friends decides to go, we just tell the others where we are going and when we will be there. If they want to join in great, if not - there will be a next time.
