Sent e-mail to CW on April 30, to the attention of David Garvin, no response to date.
In Jan. while at the CW in Denton TX I filled out a card with TT. Received call while in Quartzsite with offer of 3 free nights and $500 in free groceries. Sure it sounded to good to be true, had them repeat offer and let my guard down. Many dealings with AGI that had been positive. So scheduled free nights for March in a park close to San Diego, park was fine.
The free groceries ended up being 50 stickers with $10. printed on each, enclosed with one form. Instruction said to attach one sticker on form, pick the product coupons I wanted, enclose a stamped envelope and wait 15 working days to receive coupons and next form. As a FTer, I must have mail forwarded. I figure it would take about 3 years, 100 stamps and 100 envelopes to get my free coupons, but still no free groceries. I could do better with a Sunday Newspaper.
Maybe the 3 free nights would have been enough to get me to try TT, maybe not. With already having a Life Membership in Escapees and a yearly membership with United RV Campers and Passport. Right or wrong, I was told I would receive $500. in free groceries no mention of coupons was made.
Now you know what to expect if you receive the same offer, and as I said above the park was nice. I don't know if AGI or even if David Garvin of CW are aware of the offers made by TT, I would hope they don't.
However, I do feel you deserve to know what to expect, I hope my bad experence as served to help someone else.

Got off phone with TT, claim the person is no longer with TT. Due to complaints already received, offering $75.00 Wal-Mart gift cards and the offer for the $500. in free groceries has been discontinued.
Have not received response from CW.

I suspect as with nearly all vendors like this, TT merely rented floor space from CW, and CW has no connection with TT otherwise. A free ride is exactly that-a free ride. You did get what you paid for right? If someone wants to give me something, the first question is why? Thanks for the frank information about TT. You've likely saved some good folks from falling for this marketing tactic.

My wife and I over the years have taken TT up on their offer to visit free for 3 days if we sit thru their hour presentation. We have had some excellent free camping that way althought you have to make clear to the pitch person that they get one hour and no more. If I ever entertained the idea of buying into TT, it would NOT be at one of these sales pitches. ou can buy their $4000 pkg on line or from brokers for about $500 as many people are anxious to unload them. At that price, TT would be a good deal if you plan to stay in one place for 2 wks at many different camp grounds.
