I want ti thank everyone for the great information. I was lucky enough today to find the hot water tank and where to fill it. I went ahead and flushed it just incase. I Got the pilot light lit and now hot water is flowing. Thanks again for all the help you guys are awsone. Now for my fridge. I have located a gas line for it but I'm not seeing where I would switch from electric to gas. I was told there should just be a button or a switch on the fridge. There is a door on the outside of the camper that's behind the fridge its stuffed with styrofoam. But the gas line I found is beside the fridge inside the trailer.I don't see any kind of valve on it and to tight a space to get my hand in. Any thoughts or ideas? I guess I really need to get my hands on one of those generic books.

Yes I saw that same ad. It actually looks just like mine. Other than I am 34'.
I ened up on this site because everytime I key in travel trailer or camper I was always re directed to rv sites. I read a bunch of threads on here and gained a lot of info so desided I post one of mine own just see if I could get the info needed. Thanks again. For all the useful information.

I don't know the history of your rig, but be sure the tires are in good shape before a road trip like you plan. Probably need to grease the bearings too. Failure of either of these items on the road could be catastrophic.

Thanks retired and happy. I have a spartan pull behind. The tires have been checked bearings were lubed as my purchase was actually mad in the chicago land area and a friend towed it to my place in TN. I made sure was all good before here started the trip here. Never hurts to double check prior to the next big journey next week. I just want to say thanks again for all the great advice I've gotten even though I guess I'm not actually an RV.
