George, it shouldn't be a problem. The pump pulls 12 amps and you have a 40 amp power supply. Of course, any motor pulls a lot more current on startup, but it should still be fine! JMHO

Can the LED powersupply 12v 40a run the macerator pump?
Ya have all that available 12volt power on the rig. Why not just run a wire and install a plug for it? My guess is it's an item that's never used more than a few feet from the same place every time.
Plus an LED power supply is heavily regulated. The induced spikes from the dc motor could be really bad for its regulator. It's expecting a PCM load, not inductive. I'm sure it will work just not clear on for how long.
