Can't figure our Rhinoflex Sewer Hose

I bought a brand new RhinoFlex hose this weekend and used it to dump my tanks. All went well. As I was disconnecting everything, the orange section of the translucent elbow that connects to the black hose disconnected somehow. I messed with it for five munutes but cannot figure out how to get that connection back together. There are no instructions in the box and nothing on the Camco website and no youtube videos showing this section detached. Is there a way to connect this or is it broken?

If you look on your connectors it shows which way to losen and tighten. To reconnect your hose to the black piece, screw it on the hose.

Did you try turning the connection to the left to tighten?

Black , jam nut back onto the brown hose 6" , screw the orange section into the brown hose until it bottoms out. Turn the black nut towards the orange section; do not allow the orange section to turn. look for the words lock and loosen on the black nut.
Relacement hose is availabe , ends are removeable so you don't have to buy the whole kit.

Thanks Skip! I'll try that! Just to confirm - the black section goes outside of hose and orange section goes inside the hose, correct?

Both the black and orange sections go on the outside of the hose. The orange section screws on opposite a normal screw or nut.
