Can't figure out how to remove my TV, I did do a search on here first! :)

I have a 2011 Fleetwood Tioga with a built in entertainment center. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the TV. I did try and pry up on it a little but it did not budge. It is a flat screen and I just want to see if it has HDMI hookups on the back because there are none on the side. It is a "no name" TV. The only picture I have of it right now is from when the dealer sent me pictures so its not up close. I have looked for access in the cabinets and have not found any.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Also...can not find any paper work on this TV even though we got tons when we bought the used.

Thanks,
Susan

If you remove the entertainment centre underneath the TV,
can you see bolts or screws?
The cabinets are put together with screws and you either
find plugs which hide bolts or screws.

Check for a locking mechanism on the mount. My wall mount has a shaft that is disengaged by pulling from the bottom.

Given that flat panels all seem to come with a mount point I suspect you have a tapered drop in type mount where the plate on the TV drops into the plate on the wall and the taper wedges in place. There is probably a keeper screw or two to keep it from bouncing out. At least that is what seems to be on our two. You can see the mounts at places like CampingWorld and probably BestBuy but the latter will probably have a swing arm. If the panel is big enough there might be two mount points on a bracket.

The best advice is to call customer service. If they can tell you where to look a long screwdriver will probably unlock the system.

FWIW I helped put several in where we used a long 1/4 inch extension fitted with 1/4 drive hex bits in a drive head and a ratchet. It went flatter to the wall than a screwdriver. ;-)

Some mounts as stated above, have a slot that the top of the mount slips into and one or two spring loaded latches on the bottom of the mount with a cord to pull to unlatch them. Feel up from the bottom and see if you can feel a cord like a shoe lace to pull. There may be two.
If so, pull the cord, pull the bottom of the tv outward and lift up.

Push input on the remote. If it has HDMI it will come up as an option to select.

Two suggestions.....get a small mirror and look around the edges of the TV for a release for the TV mount. Often, it's a cable or cord that is stuffed behind the TV. You give it a pull to release the mount.
