We finally get to take our TT out for the first time this weekend. It's going to be hot in central Indiana, but I'm looking forward to it.

It is always an expeience. Like Dixieray said take your sence of humor. Two trips back I came home from work early for a short weekend trip. Horrendous down pore and we live in the back roads mountains. Stuck in the mud getting out of the driveway. DW had to drive it out while I operated the track hoe. Not a fun start but we had a good laugh. I promised not to ever tell that at first she forgot to put the rv I gear.... Opp did i say that out loud....

Bottom line is that something will go wrong and how you deal with it will make or break the trip. Take it all in stride and each trip will get easier... Or the story will get better.

Good advice. Just a few hours of work left, then I can start getting ready. We are just figuring this out as we go along. What to take, what food to pack, stuff like that.
