Carefree Omega one parts
Hi,I'm looking for those 2 curved arms left and right of the carefree omega slide and window awning. They are broken by a strong storm . Carefree don't have it in stock and they don't get it in future. I tried it at a RV junkyard but they don't answer me . I live in Germany and it's not possible to get it here and it's also very difficult to find it in USA .
We own a Holiday Rambler Imperial.
Does somebody have an idea?
Thanks and kind regards.... Frank

Those could be really hard to find (the piece that looks like a question mark). A local metal fabricator/welder might be able to make new pieces.

Hi, I was in contact with visone RV parts but they want to ship the whole thing(awning complete). For a local Metall worker it's also not possible because the diameter of us tubes is not the same like the german tubes. They are all in zoll/inch but at least different. And the German tubes don't fit in the awning tube
also the acc. don't fit over the tube.
What can I do?

You might ask Visone if they would sell you the entire awning but only ship the pieces you need?

Frank, call Chris at Stone Vos. It seems I remember he has a source on them.
One of mine got bent once and I took it off and had a local machine shop straighten it for me!

Thanks all for your answers. I got it fixed. An alu shop nearby made it straight and soldered it. Now I got a paintjob on it and it looks like new. The arm has 31,75mm in diameter and this shurely is an us size but I checked it with a 32mm piece and it goes in the awning tube also so if I have problems with the arm in future I also can use a 32mm tube and this I can get here too.
Now we can make the next trip south of Europe over the coming winter.
Thanks again.
Kind regards.....Frank

Just an update on the Omega arms. Talin RV just did a large production run of Omega arms and has them in stock. They were made with tube stock that is twice the wall thickness of OEM making them less likely to bend.
Talin worked with and got permission from Carefree to manufacture the arms as well as the arm slide locks.
