Exclamation Careful guys with your RV...

There was a big accident today in QC, a car entering the highway had not seen a truck/FW in the right lane and the truck had to avoid the car and hit another truck/FW that was in the left lane

Lot of pic here:
Les vacances commencent mal: Accident important à Stoneham - ZONE911 - Actualité et information du monde de l'urgence au Québec (Média collaboratif)

At least the 2 adults and 2 children seemed to have very minor injuries.

Always watch people entering highways!

Durn, I wish I'd paid attention in French class during high school. I've been in that situation, a car merging into freeway traffic, I couldn't move to the left because of traffic. I couldn't slow to allow the car in because a semi was following me closely. The car would not slow down, and drove in the break-down lane until he was out of sight in my rear-view mirror.
It's a jungle out there, drive carefully.

Not a very nice way to end your holiday. Happily not much in the way of injuries

The thought of that type of accident is one that always frightens me when I am towing our 5er on a limited access highway. Some 'moron' distracted by what's going on in the entering vehicle, on the cell phone or just has no idea or knowledge of the physics of a motor vehicle and never properly accelerates or even looks where he is going. Then there is the little old (you insert the sex here) who is just barely there mentally.

Air horns...let's them know you're there, and that you aren't able to move over or slow down.

Nobody in a car tries to challenge a blaring air horm.

Then they pass you and brake check you.

I try to watch for these people and slow or speed up but sometimes there is nothing you can do but hold your ground and hope they get a clue.
