Rug Doctor has a smaller unit that is great for RVs. Before we got rid of the carpet I was able to find the smaller unit at some grocery stores.

That's the one we used. Got the carpets nice and clean. Did one clean with the shampoo, one rinse and one pass to suck out excess water.

After much study, we settled on the Hoover and have not been sorry we made the purchase.
Be sure and drain it thoroughly or use it often! We've ruined three Hoover's (at about $200 each) due to putting them away wet and the pump corroding. For that amount of money we could have bought a real commercial machine at Costco!
But we're going to rip out all the carpet (over 25 years old now) in the stick house and replace it with hardwood and probably re-do the MH with Allure. Going to sign a contract for new roof on the stick house tomorrow. Then get the vinyl siding finished, then comes the stick house flooring.
