Thanks, Craig N Deb
We have our decals mounted front and rear.
It has been almost three months since we got the RV and I just got my first radio check, it was, "LOUD & CLEAR". Oh Boy.
Now I need someone to tell me; how or where to wire the CB into the MH, as PO has it wired so it is on only when the ignition is on!!! If I turn off the ignition, all memory is gone.

I want to be able to monitor channel 13, (or what ever channel), without having the ignition switch on.
Could use some wiring advice, as to where to plug into or tap off of.
Thanks.

HI Bob's C Class. I mounted my antenna also on the overhead above the drivers door. I just drilled away. But being a retired carpenter, I am used to drinlling throug very expensive stuff. I just make sure that where I put the drill bit is the right spot. Measure twice and drill once. No issues with the mount. I also purchased my antenna from Right Channel Radio. I used the non ground plane antenna, it will handle up to 100 watts. I just used my old Cobra that my son in law tweaked for me.
You could put masking tape on the side of your C to put your marks and then double check your measurements.
I love radio.
As you can see I am a ham

I have a question.
I have driven 100,000 miles all around the United States. I have a CB with a200 watt bi linear amp hooked up to it and while on the road, I keep the CB set on scan so I can scan all 40 channels. I have yet to hear anyone on 13. There are still a few truckers on the CB on 19 but most are on their cell phones unless their is an accident. Has anyone else experienced this ?

Yep. We keep our CB on 13 and have never heard anyone. I switch it to 19 just to make sure it's working, but it stays pretty quiet to (which was unheard of just a short 35 years ago!!)

I sure agree with 35 years ago !
I have a relative who is a long haul trucker. He lives on his cell phone. He never uses his CB unless there is a traffic problem. When the phone rings and it is him, be prepared for a marathon phone conversation !
